![]() Lol this is hilarious that you are vacationing in Webster as many have said before but here's some stuff do. When I go to both of these events you always see a mix of young people, old people, single people, and families (with both young and older children). Or the bands on bricks is where they have local bands play and bring out the food trucks. The food truck rodeo is cool because over a dozen food trucks gather and it’s fun to grab food and walk around. You can go and then be fine going to lunch or dinner and not feel like you need to nap for three hours.Īlso, depending on the dates that you visit our public market here in Rochester has great events. I like it because it’s not too big where you feel like you’re exhausted after. It has your basic animals such as elephants, giraffes, penguins, etc. And an FYI you don’t get off the boat, it’s just a tour. There are ones that take you on the Erie Canal and ones that take you on the Genesee River. It’s about an hour and 15 from Webster, but worth the trip. Again, you can’t swim in them, but there’s some gorgeous views there and it’s called the Grand Canyon of the east. Letchworth State Park also has waterfalls. It’s pretty and like 5 minutes from Webster. You can’t go in them, but you walk near them. You can go for a walk in Corbets Glen park. Not really interactive at all, but a beautiful old home to tour. George Eastman museum is kind of cool to see as well if you have older kids. There are also restaurants around there such as Strangebird brewery (family friendly, but no kids menu), and Nerdvanna (video game themed), and Native (a little more expensive, and not as little kid friendly). And it’s easier to have cash in the token machine. Make sure you have some cash as there are 25 cent arcade games throughout the museum. ![]() It’s interactive and there are things for them to do at every turn. I just went with my 15 year old brother and we had a great time, you also could have a lot of fun with little kids. There’s so much to do for kids of all ages. Strong museum just opened up after $75 million expansion. The bay can be very hard to paddle in for a beginner. If you’re not experienced, I wouldn’t go out into the bay, stay in that pond like area they have there. You can rent canoes and kayaks at the Bay creek Paddling center. It’s apparently the oldest mini golf place in the USA. Or there’s one closer in Irondequcit Ive heard that has mini golf only. I honestly can’t think of any beach that has rope swings, etc though.Ĭlub house fun center in Henrietta has mini golf and go carts. Another great option, and last I recall they have a snack bar there. It’s a little rocky, but a nice relaxing beach. Hamlin beach is about 45 minutes away, I like it as a beach. Webster is a suburb about 15 minutes outside the City of Rochester. However there is so much to do in the Rochester region up here. How do I add flair to my post?
